Visit the New Timeline updated with 2022!

It’s been a Xmas time full of things, friends and dear ones.
It started on the evening of the 22nd, a dinner out @ Restaurant Hasen with Guni, Salvio, Natan, Giona and Rosaria! Yes, indeed!!! They made a surprise and decided to spend their Christmas holidays in Herrenberg and Stuttgart, and we quickly planned a couple of days together. So we began with a, nice dinner, Schwäbische food and plannig the next couple of days and dinners…
On the 23rd at home together afternoon and evening, cooking pizza, singing, drinking, playing. On the 24th we met soon after lunch and stayed together for the rest of the day, preparing the nice dinner (Natan’s tartine, Guni’s parmigiana di melanzane, Salvio & Rosaria’s pasta with polpettine etc.) and being surprised by Santa Klaus visiting us and leaving so many gifts. It was great having Salvio and co. with us here in Herrenberg, and Natan and Giona interacted so nicely with Diego and Wanda and all of us.

On the 25th we spent great part of the day with Christoph and Marie-Luise, having lunch together a their place – different types of meat, antipasti, desset. It is very sweet and peaceful watching Diego and Wanda with Oma und Opa.
On the 26th we welcomed Daniel, Michiru and Alex, our friends from Berlin! They stayed with us until the 28th, we spent time at home and walking through Herrenberg, drinking, talking, eating, relaxing… and with the kids playing so joyfully.

Dopo mesi di emozionanti e bellissime partite di calcio vissute da tifosi e regalati dalla SSC Napoli, c’e’ adesso una pausa di quasi due mesi. Pausa che accolgo con piacere e positivita’. L’ambiente del tifo Napoli sta vivendo un’atmosfera surreale, inebriante: e’ davvero tanto bello, divertente e perfetto quello che ha fatto vedere il Napoli, che siamo come immersi in una nuvola fatata.
Era tempo di fermarsi un po’ e recuperare energie emozionali e riordinare i pensieri.
La mia opinione e’ che tale e’ stato il divertimento, la partecipazione, la positiva sportivita’ che abbiamo vissuto, che io considero questi mesi gia’ qualcosa di materiale, una esperienza da incorniciare, indipendente da qualsiasi classifica attuale, finale o futura; a se stante rispetto ai parametri classici di valutazione di una prestazione che non necessariamente, ed in particolare non questa volta, si lega alla competitivita’ misurata da parametri che valgono per tutti. Personalmente ho sentito di meno la gara in uno o piu’ tornei (certo vincere le partite mi ha fatto gioire), non ho vissuto in primis la competizione, ma ho goduto della bravura individuale e complessiva della squadra e della societa’, nei gesti sportivi e personali che ho seguito in TV con mio figlio (Diego) di 6 anni.
Il Napoli ha giocato ad uno sport, o per meglio dire ad un gioco, diverso dalle altre squadre. Un modo di vivere un gioco con gioia, con la voglia di stupire, di divertire, di farti innamorare.
Queti mesi non li dimentichero’, fanno parte gia’ del mio bagaglio di emozioni bellissime della vita.

It was Coca Cola Light great commercial – just found the original Italian short version on Youtube.
I guess they tried to adapt it on Diet Coke branding, but Coca Cola Light sounds much better!

It’s great to see the Good prevailing over the Bad, like tonight with SSC Napoli winning in Rome against AS Roma.

Football should be joy, and not fight nor hypocrisy.

I am proud of my team this year, representing fair, clean, honest, and enjoyable sport attitude.

The Good prevails. At least in football, at least tonight.

I find it hard not to mention, again, the extraordinary moment of SSC Napoli, winning 6 to 1 in Amsterdam against the myth of Ajax, and dominating in Italy and Europe against its opponents with a joyful style. It’s beautiful to watch them playing. It’s simply a lot of fun, a period of super enjoyable entertainment.

The vacation in Mallorca was partially ruined by sickness, a flu that caught Wanda and Guni first after 4 days, then Diego and myself on the last day and once back home. We’re OK now, Guni and the kids are fine already since a while, for me this thing lasted ten days more or less. Still I enjoyed the first 4 days there when we were in complete family formation, and the second part the time alone with Diego has been a time full of love and memories to keep.

Schade! But I feel strong and blessed to have such a beautiful family, wonderful kids getting more beautiful every day. And talking to them, spending time with them gets nicer all the time.

Gli anni della Kita sono alle spalle, di fronte a voi inizia un cammino nuovo, diverso. Sono un po’ triste nel ricordare gli anni dell’asilo che avete vissuto e goduto, sono emozionato nel pensarvi all’entrata della Scuola.

Vi auguro tutta la felicità che si può avere. Il mio cuore è tutto vostro, sono con voi Wanda e Diego, ora e per sempre.

Hanno imparato a nuotare in questi giorni, i miei due meravigliosi figli.

Ho detto a Diego che sono momenti importanti nella vita, che forse li dimenticherà, ma ci sono anche io a ricordare i loro primi traguardi.

Ed un giorno se leggerà queste pagine ricorderà o saprà che è in questi giorni che ha imparato a nuotare. E che penso a loro due sempre.

Exercising to perform on piano Carla Etude / Tonight … I am far from the real thing, I will never be there, but I never imagined I could have come that close to that in a way that makes sense and makes me enjoy playing it.

Questo dolce topolino custodisce il primo dentino caduto ieri a Diego. E Diego, con emozione e gioia, ha atteso stanotte la ZahnFee che puntualmente è passata a lasciargli una lettera ed un regalo, che hanno fatto tanto felice il nostro splendido bambino.

Celebrating the first year Anniversary of our life in Herrenberg.
It’s been an intense year full of things, and I am happy of the choice we made to move here.
It was the right time to leave Berlin and to start the new life Baden-Württemberg’s chapter. This was the first Region of Germany that I met, the first impression I had of this Country, and I had always hoped to live here sooner or later. And here I am now, here we are now. And I believe we are enjoying it (with Spring and now Summer ahead! the best time of the year!)

13 to 23 June 2022. Istria, Croatia. Rovigno exactly.

We hadn’t had a vacation for a long time, due to covid and our relocation to Herrenberg last summer. So we were really looking forward to spend days off with the entire family, which we did with thus holiday in Croatia. Finally the see and Mediterranean for the kids.

Stayed @ the Polari camping in Rovigno, a huge place on the coast. We had a Mobile home, and following kids desires we spent almost every day by the swimming pools and went to the beach just a couple of times. Weather was very good, very warm…hot actually. We visited the old city of Rovigno and found a good real neapolitan pizzeria there, “Zita”.

We reached Croatia by car, one of the advantages of living south Germany! On the way to Rovigno we stopped for one night in Hallein in Austria, while on the way back the overnight stop was in Sankt Michel in Lungau (Landhaus Lungau). Both beautiful places.

We have all enjoyed these couple of weeks of vacations.

We came back home this weekend, and spent a nice Saturday evening bbq with friends in Mönchberg… and in time to join the Zwiebelkuchenfest in Kuppingen!
